Electronic certification databases

If the device is sold in the U.S. and complies with U.S. regulations, see below.
An FCC ID is a unique identifier assigned to a device registered with the United States Federal Communications Commission.
For legal sale of wireless devices in the US. These databases can be of great use if you want to quickly know what kind of wireless communication hardware is used.
Here you can most often find certifications, type approvals, specifications, instructions, internal/external pictures and sometimes even datasheets.
