Speak & Spell information, images, and reversing information
The [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speak_%26_Spell_(toy) Speak & Spell] is an edutainment toy first produced in the late 1970's, notable for its rudimentary text to speech capabilities.
The version shown here was produced between 1989 and 1992 and features a VFD. Also pictured are two leads from a USB A connector replacing the original battery leads, which manages to power the toy.
